Alan A. Potvin
Alan A. Potvin is the co-author of The Legend of Santa School: Where Believing Begins and co-founder of Traditions & Tales. For decades, he has brought the magic of Christmas to life as a real-life Santa, creating unforgettable memories for children and families throughout New England. Inspired by the bedtime stories he shared with his own children about Santa School and life at the North Pole, Alan dreamed of creating a story that families could read together year after year. What began as cherished family storytelling has grown into a tradition he hopes will inspire imagination, wonder, and lasting holiday memories for generations to come. Alan lives in York, Maine, with his wife of more than thirty years, Kathy, where family, laughter, and what many proudly call "the world's best hot cocoa" are always in season.
Kylie A. Fitzpatrick
Kylie A. Fitzpatrick is the co-author of The Legend of Santa School: Where Believing Begins and co-founder of Traditions & Tales. Inspired by the traditions that shaped her own childhood and the memories created through time spent with family, she partnered with her uncle, Alan Potvin, to bring a beloved family story to life for others to enjoy. Growing up in New England, Kylie has always loved the magic of the Christmas season and believes that the stories families read together often become the traditions they cherish for generations. Through Traditions & Tales, she hopes to create books that inspire imagination, strengthen family connections, and become part of holiday celebrations for years to come. When she's not writing, Kylie enjoys baking, volunteering in her community, exploring the New England coast, and spending time with family and friends, the moments that continue to inspire the stories she hopes to tell.
